The authority plays a leading role in the provision of high quality education and training in the region. It achieves this by transforming the lives of our students, our learners and communities.

Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) is an institution of higher education in Limerick, which offers courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in a range of disciplines including engineering, science, business, humanities and art and design.

Mary Immaculate College: Founded in 1898, Mary Immaculate College (MIC) is the oldest third-level institution in Limerick. It is a Catholic College of Education and the Liberal Arts and offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.
